Ever since it was launched in 2004, Facebook has grabbed the
top spot in the list of most favorite and popular social networking site with
more than 500 million users worldwide. Facebook’s rise to fame is phenomenal. Let’s
give credit to the company’s continuous improvement to their applications, user
interface and marketing. A perfect example of Facebook’s creativity and inventiveness is on how it integrated itself to smart phones and mobile platforms.
If you are a Facebook user with smart phone, you can still
use Facebook whether you are on-the-go or away from your computer. There are
several versions of Facebook mobile platforms and applications that you can download.
Here’s a list:
- Facebook for Android - If you have an android phone, download from Google Play the latest version.
- Facebook for iPhone or iPad - If you own an iPhone or iPad, download the latest at Apple’s App Store.
- Facebook Home – also for android devices where you can glance at your Smartphone to see updates from friends
- Facebook Messenger for Mobile – available for Android, iPhone and Blackberry which allows user to send and receive messages faster
- Facebook Camera – allows you to share your photos faster and you can see all the latest photos of your friends in one place.
Since there are several applications available to login to
Facebook mobile, the steps are different. Here are some ways on how to do a
mobile login.
Using a feature phone or your phone’s internet browser:
1. Open your phone’s mobile browser and go to
m.facebook.com (Facebook’s mobile site)

Enter your email address or registered phone
number that you are using to log in to Facebook
3. Enter your password and click the “Login” button.
4. You can choose to use “Do not Save” or “Save” Device when Facebook prompted you.

For touch devices or phone such as iPod Touch, Facebook developed a specific version that doesn’t have an equivalent native application so it will look and function quite differently from m.facebook.com:
2. Open the web browser and go to touch.facebook.com.
3. Login to Facebook with your registered email address or phone number.
Using a smart phone from Blackberry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson or android phones or iPhone:
2. Enter your email-address and password.
3. Choose “Do not Save” or “Save” Device if you are prompted.
If you are not logged in to your account and you can’t remember your password:
2. Wait for an email that gives you a link for password resetting.
However, if you are already logged in, you can no longer change
your password on your Facebook application due to latest Facebook update. If
